Student Tobacco Cessation

August 1, 2016 Missouri University of Science and Technology will be tobacco-free.

Student Wellness offers a one on one student smoking-cessation program for those who are thinking about or are ready to quit. These sessions may include:

  • Free nicotine replacement therapy (patches, gum or lozenges)
  • One-on-one coaching and goal assessment
  • A personalized quit plan
  • Peer support

Quitting tobacco and nicotine products is a process. Student Wellness is here to help.

Our program involves one on one sessions to create an individualized quit plan. We will review your current use, any quit attempts in the past, and what will work best for you as you work towards quitting tobacco. Our initial conversation will last between 30-50 minutes and then go from there.
