S&T Prevention Coalition

Prevention Coalition is a network of campus and community partners who utilize S&T specific data to guide wellness initiatives. These initiatives encourage positive choices among students and reduce the impact of high-risk behavior associated with alcohol and other drugs. We collaborate closely with Partners in Prevention (PIP) and twenty other Missouri universities to guide and improve Miner Wellness programming.

Prevention Coalition builds awareness and encourages action by providing knowledge and resources to foster responsible and educated choices.

Prevention Coalition  2017-2018 Strategic Plan focuses on three priority areas of concern as identified by data from the Missouri Assessment of College Health Behavior Summary (MACHB). For an overview of the data, follow this link S&T MACHB 2019 Data Brief .

Priority 1: Provide health education to foster educated and responsible choices.

Priority 2: Promote a healthy and safe living and learning environment.

Priority 3: Support a culture of prevention and intervention.
