BASICS: Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students. BASICS is not an abstinence-only program. We work with you to reduce the consequences associated with high-risk drinking.
CASICS: Cannabis Screening and Intervention for College Students. We use a harm reduction approach to help reduce the risk and consequences associated with marijuana use.
Have concerns about sleep? Want to increase your physical activity level? Looking to more effectively manage stress? Meet with a wellness coordinator to discuss your goals and to set a plan to work towards improving your well-being.
Q: What should I expect during my consultation?
A: During your consultation, you will meet with a wellness coordinator for approximately 1 hour. During this time, you will set goals, discuss barriers, and work with the wellness coordinator to establish a plan to achieve your goals. Follow-up sessions can be booked as needed. Q: Is there a cost associated with consultations?
A: General wellness, nutrition, tobacco cessation, and bystander intervention education consultations are free for all currently enrolled students. Our BASICS and CASICS programs are free for those students who are self-referred.
